The AZ selection days, held annually in April, are crucial to the successful football club. In 2024, the event took place at three different locations in and around Alkmaar. Goalden was asked to partially organize these days this year, and we can proudly say that it was a success!
The Gameplan
what we did
This year, we at Goalden | Next-gen sports marketing proudly collaborated on the organization of the AZ Alkmaar selection days. Designed for youth players from U7 to U14, these selection days offer a fantastic opportunity for young talent to showcase their skills to AZ scouts. Thanks to the excellent collaboration with Maarten Roomer and Dennis Zwagerman, we enabled AZ to host 1.400 talented players.
We took on the project management and event organization. Spread over four days and three different locations, we created an outstanding event. We are very pleased with the results and look forward to the next edition!
